The owner – hands on and dynamic

The Hotel Am Wartturm is a personally run family business now in its second generation. Whilst father Günter Heck previously managed the hotel in addition to his main profession, Christian Heck and his wife Michaela now happily dedicate themselves to the task full-time. We love working with a great team of people and greeting valued guests.

The team – young & motivated

We are delighted to introduce you to the Hotel Am Wartturm’s dedicated and hard-working team. We are either young or have stayed young at heart and are highly motivated and look forward to assisting you. Whilst we are only human and therefore not always perfect, we give our very best on a daily basis to make your stay with us enjoyable and comfortable.

At your service since 1979

It was one of the first hotels to be built in Speyer and was named after the nearby “Wormser Warte” tower which was erected in 1451. Günter Heck, on the look-out for a new challenge, purchased the hotel in June 1994, hereby returning to his gastronomic roots. he next generation, Christian Heck and his wife Michaela, have now been running the hotel since 2005 with the support of a very dedicated team. Numerous renovations over the years combined with a team of staff members whose upmost priority is individual service, means that each guest can enjoy their stay with us to the fullest.

Modern, cosy ambience and warm hosts. Very clean. Friendly staff and rich breakfast buffet. We will definitely be back.

Claudia - Holidaycheck

A hotel run with love! It’s the little things that make a hotel great! And this hotel is really big! […] Thank you for the feel-good experience!

Ingeborg S. - TripAdvisor

Already at the first step into the hotel we were very pleasantly surprised. The welcome is directly by name. A more than friendly family-run hotel.
